I was going down a video rabbit hole this weekend on Youtube. I was watching videos on mobile DJing when this gem showed up on my suggested videos. I love the song, and I was intrigued by what a Tesla coil was.

Franzoli Electronics is a YouTube channel that uses Tesla coils to make music and other sound effects. Apparently, his fans challenged him to cover Toto's Africa. He programmed Tesla coils to play the song, and the most interesting part is there are no speakers or special effects involved.

I'm sure you'll be like me and be mesmerized by not only the visuals but by the accuracy of the musical sounds made by the coils.

According to the post, the coils are playing the music "due to the programmed phase, pulse width, and firing frequency." Whatever. It sounds and looks cool.
