George Clinton To Funk Up Lake Charles This Weekend

George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic are performing in Lake Charles this weekend.

Clinton was born in Kannapolis, North Carolina in 1941.  He found his musical inspiration in science fiction, outlandish fashion, psychedelic culture, and surreal humor all crammed into a funk beat.

The funk pioneers will be live at the Grand Event Center at the Golden Nugget this Friday at 8:30pm.
