The Calcasieu Parish School Board will be handing out meals for students tomorrow at two locations in the parish.

CPSB will provide children 18 and under with meals for the week. Last week, both sites ran out of meals in under an hour, so CPSB announced they are changing the amount of food in the bags to increase the number of kids they can feed. There has been no word on how many meals will be in the bags tomorrow.

The meals will be available for pick-up tomorrow from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the locations below.

  • CPSB Central Office, 3310 Broad Street, Lake Charles, LA 70615
  • Sulphur High School 9th Grade Campus, 600 Willow Avenue, Sulphur, LA 70663

In order to minimize exposure, the public is asked to drive through for meal pick-up without exiting the vehicle. Instructions for safe food handling will be included with the meals.

CPSB still plans to deliver meals to homes of students. For more details on how you can sign up for this program, click here.
