Business Insider and Survey Monkey teamed up to survey over 2,000 Americans and asked them to pick their five top rudest cities in America from a list of the biggest 50 cities in the nation.

Top 10 Rudest Cities In America:

1. New York, NY
2. Los Angeles, California
3. Washington, D.C.
4. Chicago, Illinois
5. Boston, Massachusetts
6. Detroit, Michigan
7. Buffalo, New York
8. Baltimore, Maryland
9. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
10. San Francisco, California

Four Texas cities made the list.  I find this hard to believe, I think that the people taking this survey were just a bunch of haters.  Living in Louisiana, my family's go-to vacation destinations are usually in Texas. We love staying in Alvin, TX especially because it's in the middle of Galveston and Houston.  Every time we have vacationed in Texas we have never met a rude person.

38. San Antonio

• 2.3% of respondents thought San Antonio had the rudest inhabitants.

18. Houston

• 5.3% of respondents thought Houston had the rudest inhabitants.

16. Austin

• 6.6% of respondents thought Austin had the rudest inhabitants.

14. Dallas

• 6.9% of respondents thought Dallas had the rudest inhabitants.
