Page Six reported in March of 2023 that Marciano was "banned" from GMA tapings because he made co-workers uncomfortable. One of their sources said that this decision stemmed from several alarming events that happened at the Time Square studio.

Yahoo says that details are "scarce" at the moment concerning Marciano's firing. However, Dylan Byers of Puck News is reporting that many complaints have been filed over the years of Marciano's tenure at ABC.

The 55-year-old Marciano started working for ABC in 2014. He first appeared on ABC News and the weekend edition of Good Morning America, where he took over for Ginger Zee, who is now featured on weekday shows. In the past, he was a CNN meteorologist and Entertainment Tonight anchor.

The New York Post is reporting that their sources are telling them that Marciano was fired because of "anger issues".
