Most people remember the very first time they saw "The Wizard of Oz." The movie has more than captivated audiences for generations now and to remake this classic would be a crime.

Having said that, Disney (Walt wanted to make the movie back in the 30's, before the Judy Garland classic was made) has released the trailer for the "prequel" called "Oz: The Great and Powerful." Take a look at the trailer and see what you think.

Directed by Sam Raimi (the first ‘Spider-Man’ trilogy), ‘Oz: The Great and Powerful’ stars James Franco as Oscar Diggs, a small-time circus magician who is hurled the same way Dorothy was from Kansas to the wonderful Land of Oz. But just when he thought he’s hit the jackpot in this mysterious land, Diggs meets three witches — Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz), and Glinda (Michelle Williams) — and his adventures begin.

In this "prequel" we learn how Oscar Diggs becomes the Wizard of Oz long before Dorothy and company come down the yellow brick road looking for help. The movie is scheduled for release in March of next year.
