All season long, the McNeese Athletic Department has been putting on the McNeese Block Party concert series with the help of Lake Charles Toyota and Legacy Jewelers.

The best thing about this show other than The Chee Weez is terrific, it's absolutely FREE to go. The concert is located at the Robert Naoland Pavilion on the corner of McNeese and Common Streets in Lake Charles by the football stadium.

They have had The Flamethrowers, Gyth Rigdon, Charlie Wayne, Wayne Toups, and Parish County Line so far this season and the finale is this Friday.

Get ready for a huge show with the unpredictable and terrific cover band The Chee Weez! This is one of the greatest cover bands in the United States and is the lead singer is Todd O'Neill.

Todd won a national contest and landed himself a country music recording contract. He did that for a few years before finding his way back to the Chee Weez's band. If you have never seen The Chee Weez then get ready.

The Chee Weez will play country, rock, and all other sorts of genres of music and you will be singing along to every song because you will know every one of them. Let us give you an idea of what you will see.

Here is a promo video for the band. The lead singer in the promo is Brandon Foret who is no longer with the band. Todd O'Neill is the singer but you will get the drift of what this show is all about.

So make your plans to grab your lawn chair, ice chest and come out this Friday night, November 19th for this awesome free concert.
