Last week, we announced the save the date for our good buddy Ben Terry's benefit happening on Saturday, June 4th in Lake Charles.

A committee was formed a week ago to put on this event for Ben. If you don't know, Ben Terry is one of our meteorologists on our local television KPLC TV.

Ben was treated and had surgeries for a tumor last year for Colon Cancer and was deemed cancer-free. It looked like Ben was in the clear after going through all of that but unfortunately, his cancer has come back more aggressively now.

Recently they found two more tumors and he is currently undergoing chemo once again. Even though he is going through all of this, he still is going on TV and still serving the area with the weather reports.

The benefit will take place at the Burton Coliseum on Saturday, June 4th, 2022 from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. It will feature a live and silent auction, kids zone, food, drinks, and live entertainment.

With that being said, the Friends of Ben Terry committee has been hard at work putting the benefit together and is proud to now announce the entertainment lineup for June 4th, 2022.

Here is the entertainment lineup for the Ben Terry Benefit.

If you would like to donate an auction item or purchase a reserved table, please send an email to friendsofbenterry@gmail.com.

If you would like to make a monetary donation, a bank account has been set up at First Federal Bank under the name Friends of Ben Terry. Anyone wishing to make a donation can go to any First Federal branch and do so.
