The City of Lake Charles is looking for full-time workers:

Inspector, Property Standard I

Responsible for securing and maintaining compliance with local codes and regulations governing unsanitary and unsightly conditions.

General Maintenance/Unskilled Laborer

Individual is responsible for manual labor of an unskilled and semi-skilled nature under general supervision. General duties include: Loading, unloading and carrying sand, gravel, pipe, lumber, furniture, etc.; operating small equipment and hand tools, maintaining grass, shrubs and trees.

Large Equipment Operator (CDL Position)

Must have CDL license and past driving or operating experience. Positions open driving transit buses (requires passenger endorsements), solid waste rear-end loader, side loaders, cherry pickers, dump trucks, etc.

Auto Mechanics

This position is responsible for general mechanical work. Other duties may be assigned.
