Edwards Appoints Sowela Manager

David Darbone has served Sowela Technical Community College as it's Executive Director of Facilities and Planning since way back in 2008.  As such he has a clue as to how things should run.  That's likely why Governor John Bel Edwards has now appointed Darbone to the Board of Commissioners of the Lake Charles Harbor and Terminal District.

We congratulate Mr. Darbone, his wife Camille and their five daughters all of which have great right to be proud of Dad.

The Port of Lake Charles covers some 5,000 acres of land in total and operates two marine terminals.  The district is a political subdivision of the State and is governed by a seven member board, of which Darbone is the most recent appointee.
