Why did Drew Brees and his family hang around in the Superdome long after the Monday night game against the Colts?

Ed Werder reported via Twitter that Brees and his family were spotted on the field of the Superdome as late as 1 am after the Monday Night Football game.

On that night, Brees set the all-time passing record for touchdowns so perhaps he wanted to share this moment with his family following the game, celebrations and press conference.

Now, on the other hand, some have suggested that there could be more to this. Was Drew taking one last walk with his family in the dome following the last home game of the regular season? Yes, some have speculated that Brees could be playing in the final season of his Hall-Of-Fame career.

Whatever the case may be, it's nice to see Brees take in the moment with the ones he loves most. Football truly is family.
