Downtown At Sundown Returns To Lake Charles, Louisiana This Friday

One of SWLA's favorite concert series events is coming back to Lake Charles this Friday for a four-weekend run.

Downtown At Sundown is a free family-friendly event for the whole family. So bring your lawn chairs and get ready to have a blast. There will be food trucks, art, wine, beer, and product vendors. Plus live music performances every Friday in Lake Charles for the next four weeks.

The events will take place in front of Historic City Hall in downtown Lake Charles. Beverage sales from the events will go to benefit the Literacy Council of SWLA.

This Friday, Louisiana legend Chubby Carrier will perform with The Bayou Swamp starting at 6:oopm.

Here's the music lineup for Downtown At Sundown:

• May 13 - Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band
• May 20 - The 33s
• May 27 - The Charlie Wayne Band
• June 3 - Robin and the Sugar Bees

Ice chests and pets are not allowed at the event. If it rains, Downtown At Sundown will be moved to the Civic Center.
