On March 12, Deridder, Louisiana will have something special for the youth to have some fun things in the area to do. This will obviously be something to keep them occupied in a positive setting and away from some of the day-to-day confusion that can be in the streets.

The Kingdom Center will be that safe haven for the youth and will include video games, flat screen tv's and pool tables as well. This was started by Deridder native Billy Clark who spent time on the streets doing miscellaneous things like any typical teenager would be known to do.

According to Billy Clark, the facility will be for more than games and play. There will also be a small gym, a classroom for study improvements as well as an RC Hobby shop and life skill training, and more. The Kingdom Center will be located at 628 High School Drive in Deridder on Saturday, March 12, and will offer a tour of the facility and more on the day of the grand opening. For more details visit the Kingdon Center's website.

I am looking forward to meeting Billy next week sometime to talk about his vision and other plans that he is working on for the youth and the city of Deridder.

While the almost self-replicating nature of these vague symbols can get exhausting, memes in their essence can also bring people closer together—as long as they have internet access.
