Living in Louisiana, chances are you don't have to defrost your windshield very often. Who am I kidding? You probably don't even own one of those little ice scrapers for your car.

With all of the rain and freezing temperatures in the forecast you might find yourself in a not-so-cool predicament. But don't be frozen in fear if you see a layer of ice on your car, just mix yourself up this simple solution and your windshield will be defrosted in no time!

According to The Huffington Post, you can say "see ya" to your iced-over windshield in seconds by using two ingredients that you probably already have in your house: water and isopropyl or rubbing alcohol.

Seriously, just mix together 1/3 part water and 2/3 part isopropyl or rubbing alcohol, spray it on your windshield, and watch the ice melt away instantly!
