Daughtry Is Rocking Out Lake Charles This Weekend

Chris Daughtry, a former American Idol contestant, will be performing in Lake Charles this weekend.

Daughtry finished 4th on the 5th season on American Idol behind Elliot Yamin, Katharine McPhee, and winner Taylor Hicks.  Chris was born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina and at age 16 he started taking singing seriously as a musician.

After getting voted out of American Idol, his subsequent album became the fastest selling debut rock album in history, selling more than one million copies after just five weeks of its release!
