The Shreveport and Bossier geek community has been celebrating geek culture for a long time. With the centerpiece of the geek community becoming Geek'd Con, Shreveport's comic con, every August at the Shreveport Convention Center. But if you want to get geeky before August, you don't have to wait too long.

This April, CyPhaCon is returning to the Lake Charles Civic Center. It's a 3-day event, that is a combination of Anime, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and gaming. This year's CyPhaCon is set for April 3rd-5th, 2020. The event has been running since 2011, and has featured celebrity guests like Julian Glover, Sonny Strait, Chuck Huber, Tony Amendola, Monica Rial, Robert Axelrod, and many more.

This year, CyPhaCon's guest list features the star of multiple sci-fi and horror films Doug Jones, Cristina Vee from Sailor Moon, Eric Vale from the Dragon Ball universe, and now, a couple original Power Rangers stars are joining the fun.

CyPhaCon has announced that the original Red Ranger, Austin St. John, will be joining the fun this April...

Austin played Jason Lee Scott, the original Red Ranger, in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. He starred in the original 1993 show, and played the Red Ranger for 79 episodes. He then became the Gold Zeo Ranger in Power Rangers Zeo in 1996. He continued as Jason in Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie, Power Rangers Wild Force, and Power Rangers Beast Morphers.

But Austin isn't the only Power Rangers guest CyPhaCon has announced.

Also joining the fun will be David J. Fielding, the original Zordon from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

Fielding played Zordon in over 150 episodes of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers between 1993 and 1999. That's the fourth most episodes for any actor in the MMPR series.

Catch all the Mighty Morphin fun at CyPhaCon this year!
