CPSO Says Possible Homicide On I-10 Westbound West Of Ruth St.

This morning we noticed that traffic was slowing to a stand still on I-10 Westbound.

We reached out to local authorities and we received word that there was a parked vehicle on the side of the road and a deceased body was found by the vehicle.

According the the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office, they're treating the incident as a possible homicide.

Two of the westbound lanes are blocked at this time and traffic is backing up!

CPSO and the Louisiana State Police are on the scene.
