City of Lake Charles Plans Veterans Day Celebration

The City of Lake Charles veteran's Day celebration will include a visit from a Brigadier General, a gumbo cook off and a Kids Fun Zone.

The Veteran's Day celebration will start with a celebration at Veteran's Memorial Park at 10 am on November 8th. The Speaker will be Fort Polk's Commander Brigadier General William B. Hickman. The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1098 will receive special recognition. The Gumbo cook off and Kids Fun Zone will follow the ceremony.
