City Of Lake Charles Fourth of July Entertainment Lineup Announced
The Fourth of July is coming up in less than two weeks and the city of Lake Charles is gearing up for the big holiday in a big way releasing all the vents and all-star entertainment lineup for that day.
This popular event which is a big family-friendly event is presented by the City of Lake Charles, Coca-Cola, Visit Lake Charles, Entergy, and the Community Foundation and happens in downtown Lake Charles on July 4th.
The city of Lake Charles Red, White, Blue & You includes a patriotic community concert at the lakefront amphitheater and live music from two big local and national talents.
The music gets underway at 6:30 pm with The Charlie Wayne Band. Charlie Wayne has been touring all over the area and recently opened up for the national touring band Whiskey Myers in Beaumont, Texas.
Then at 7:30 pm, Singer and Southwest Louisiana native Gyth Rigdon will perform live. Gyth rose to national fame when he was a contestant on NBC's The Voice and was on Blake Shelton's team. Gyth made it all the way to the finale and finished runner-up.
After Gyth performs, the big fireworks extravaganza will begin at 9:15 pm. The event is free and open to the public. It is also a family-friendly event so bring your lawn chairs or blanket and enjoy a night of great entertainment at the lakefront amphitheater to celebrate our country's independence.
