The Cajun French Music Association Lake Charles chapter is holding their annual Cajun Days this Saturday, June 14th in Lake Charles.

Cajun Days is a day to celebrate the heritage, culture, and language of the Cajun people. There will be food, drinks, desserts, and live music.

The doors open at 10:00 am and go through 4:00 pm. The event will take place at the Cajun French Music Association Lake Charles chapter's building located at 3481 East Prien Lake Road.

They will have BBQ pork steak with potato salad, beans, and roll dinners available for purchase for only $10. There will also be a sweet shop on location.

Then get ready for some great traditional Cajun music all day long.  Starting at 10:00 am, August Broussard  & Cajun Friends will perform live from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Then from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Kaleb Trahan and the Lacasssine Playboys featuring Ellis Vanicor will perform from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Admission is $7 per person and 12 and under are free. This event is great because it celebrates the cajun culture and is a great way to introduce the younger generation to our heritage.

So make plans to head out to the Cajun French Music Association building in Lake Charles this Saturday, May 14th starting at 10:00 am.
