Laura Heller with the Police Jury said,

The Residential Solid Waste Convenience Centers - at 2915 Post Oak Road in Sulphur and 5500-B Swift Plant Road in Lake Charles - will also be closed. They will reopen Thursday, Jan. 20. Regular business hours for both sites are 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. Thursday through Monday. They are both closed Tuesday and Wednesday of each week.

Now as far as your trash pickup on that day, Calcasieu Parish residents will see NO interruption of pickup if you are a Wast Management customer.

Now if you live in the City of Lake Charles, your trash pickup days and times WILL BE changed due to the holiday. Check out the Lake Charles trash pickup schedules HERE.

Just make proper arrangements if you will need any city of Lake Charles or Calcasieu Parish police Jury facilities assistance for that day.
