Animal cruelty is not something that should be taken lightly when it comes down to it. I am not a fan of anyone who wants to own a pet but is not going to do the right thing to make sure they are safe and healthy. On yesterday, September 22, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office reported that on September 9th, CPSO detectives received a complaint from someone who disclosed that he had located his missing cat, deceased in his neighbor's ditch.

One investigation was done further, the detectives discovered that the neighbor Mandy C. Bellow, 45, of Bell City, LA had shot the cat with a pellet gun and threw it in her ditch. On September 17, a warrant was issued for Bellow's arrest. Bellow was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and has been charged with cruelty to animals.

Again abuse of any kind is not something that should be done. I don't want to see humans of any kind abused and or animals. I have owned several dogs and love them as family and will admit that if I couldn't take care of them then I will have to let them go.
