Beauxdines’ In Lake Charles Temporarily Closes Its Doors

The popular Lake Charles restaurant Beauxdines' has announced that they are temporarily closing its doors. The Lake Charles eatery is best known for great boiled crawfish, boiled and fried shrimp, and great live music on its patio.

Beauxdines is not only a great place to eat but they also were known for live music every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night in Lake Charles. They have had big names like Jamie Bergeron, Geno Delafose Chris Breaux, Doc Wilder, and so many many more perform live on the enormous patio.

They are known for their boiled crawfish. During crawfish season they are always jammed packed with folks eating the Louisiana favorite while listening to great live music.

So the question you all probably have is, Why have they temporarily closed the doors on the popular Lake Charles spot? The owners of Beauxdines' announced the closure on their Facebook page and here is what they said:

As you see in the announcement, Chad Pousson and Jason Guillory were part of the ownership and management team at Beauxdines'. They are also the owners of Mr. Bill's Seafood Express located at 500 East McNeese Street in Lake Charles.

So from the announcement above, it looks like both Pousson and Guillory have decided to leave Beauxdines' to concentrate on getting Mr. Bill's back open.

Mr. Bill's has been closed since August of 2020 when hurricane Laura caused severe damage to the popular restaurant. Mr. Bills is currently under construction and both Pousson and Guillory hope to have it open sometime this Fall.

The owners of Beauxdines' also said in their announcement that they will reopen the restaurant in December of 2022 when crawfish season begins.
