Jamie Angelle is a true Cajun, born and raised in St. Martin Parish. He spent the past four years at the Lafayette Consolidated Government as Chief Communications Officer and then Deputy Chief of Staff. He is familiar to Acadiana audiences from his time as the morning anchor/weather forecaster for Allen Media Group’s KLAF-TV/KADN-TV from 2017 to 2019 and a reporter for Scripps’ KATC-TV in 2019-2020. Prior to a 13-year career in the United States Army, Angelle was an Assignment Editor at KATC-TV and a reporter for KVHP-TV Lake Charles. Jamie lives in the Cecilia area with his wife, three daughters, one son, two dogs, and three cats. You can usually find him grilling, cooking, or watching the news in his free time.
