If you’ve ever wanted to sling some webs like your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, you’re in luck: Disney’s new Marvel Superhero Land, set to debut at Disney California Adventure in 2020, will include a Spider-Man attraction that equips visitors with a web-shooter of their very own. Just maybe leave the skyscraper-hopping to the pros, OK?

By sheer coincidence, four of this year’s most poignant and effective horror stories are thematically connected by their exploration of familial mental illness and inherited trauma — the concept of traumatic experiences so deeply affecting that they are passed down from parents to children, whether by nature or nurture (or, in some cases, both). This idea is the driving force behind every terrifying moment in Hereditary, The Haunting of Hill House, Sharp Objects, and Halloween, all of which also happen to have another curious thing in common: Miniature houses.

The teaser trailer for Guy Ritchie’s Aladdin dropped last night, and reactions to the first look at Disney’s latest live-action remake are wildly mixed (it looks weird). But there’s one reaction that particularly stands out: That of Terry Rossio, one of four screenwriters on Disney’s original animated Aladdin, who claims that the studio isn’t crediting — or paying — any of them despite adapting their script for the remake.

Scott Wilson, an actor best known to contemporary audiences for playing Hershel on the earlier seasons of AMC’s The Walking Dead, has passed away at the age of 76. The actor’s representative confirmed the news to TMZ today, noting that Wilson passed away peacefully at his home in Los Angeles following complications due to leukemia.
