Area Road Closures and Construction

As this area continues to expand, we'll probably see quite a bit of road construction and roads closed for maintenance. Here are a few of the potential traffic problem areas.

DOTD reports that the eastbound right lane of Interstate 10 at the Calcasieu River Bridge will be closed from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday for bridge maintenance.
More Thursday closures:
The La. 384 Grand Lake Pontoon Bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway will be closed from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. for bridge repairs.
The Interstate 10 eastbound left lane in Welsh will be closed from 7 p.m. Thursday until noon Friday for road work.
