The production is coming to Baton Rouge on May 2nd and Roadshow producer Marsha Bemko says 2,000 pairs of tickets will be issued. But she adds the deadline to register is March 13th.

If you do get tickets to this event, you will be allowed to bring in two items you would like to get appraised. This appraisal will be done for free. And you never know if your item will make it onto the show.

This is a great opportunity to bring in that item you have held onto for years that is an oddity and can not easily be found on the internet.

Ticketholders will be able to bring two items to be appraised for free. Bemko says it’s an opportunity to have experts evaluate your treasures, so bring in something that you can’t look up on the internet.

Some of the items discovered on the show include antique spears valued at more than $40,000 dollars. Rare art finds have also been discovered on the show. Sculptures, antique toys, rare china and so many more valuable items have turned up on this hot show.

If you are able to get tickets and bring in your collectable items, you can expect to learn where the item was made and a bit about its history and you will also be able to find out if it has any valuable.

The last time Antiques Roadshow came to Baton Rouge was about 10 years ago. They did make a stop in New Orleans in 2017.

The deadline to register for tickets to the Emmy Award-winning program is March 13th and participants will be notified in mid-April if you have landed tickets.
