I had no idea there was such a thing as an adults-only waterpark in our vicinity. The Cove is located in College Station, Texas, and boasts only allowing guests 18 years of age and up. If that doesn't make it worth looking into, the amenities perhaps will.

You can't enjoy a day at the waterpark as an adult without beverages, right? The Cove has that and more! I was quite shocked to learn that the beer at this place is fairly reasonable. Regular domestic is around 4 bucks. I was really expecting double that for being a "resort" type of venue. They claim it's a vegas style venue with the various amenities they have to offer such as cabanas and bungalows and a private swimming area if you rent a bungalow. On top of the beverages of the adult variety, they serve a vast amount of pool-type foods: chicken wings, tenders, pizza, sandwiches, and more. Now the big question. How much does this jewel cost?

We would be considered "non-locals" so a day pass will run you $20 up to $40 depending on the day you go. That gets you in and swimming. You can catch a bungalow for 15 people beginning at $250 up to $895. That bottom price doesn't seem half bad. You get a private "plunge pool", a private server, a TV, a safe, and a mini-fridge to go along with it. They rent cabanas for as low as $100 with fewer amenities than the bungalow, but still not a bad price to hang out while swimming the day away. My favorite thing I would have to check out is the rentable "Aqua Couches". They're two couches that are sitting in the water to dip your toes in while you get some sun at the same time. Plus, you get your own server at the couches. Sounds heavenly to me. You can reserve all of these things directly on their WEBSITE.

Seems like it would be worth a little weekend trip to enjoy some sun, water, and beverages on one of those fancy aqua couches. Course, I know I would be leaving there redder than a crawfish!
