If you thought you were getting that new phone case, think again. Shipments involving independent vendors are now suspended. These vendors use the Amazon warehouses to store and ship their products from once they are ordered. The move also prevents these outside sellers from sending any of their product to the Amazon facilities until at least April 5.

The decision will affect many small sellers and freelancers that rely on storing and shipping their products with Amazon and its warehouses. The only third-party items being allowed to ship from these particular sellers are those products that are considered "high demand" such as medical supplies and products that can be used to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Amazon is accepting products already shipped to them, but will no longer accept them after today. Any orders that were placed before the shutdown will be honored and sent accordingly.
