Alan Parsons has debuted a new song featuring former Foreigner singer Lou Gramm.

You can hear the track, “Sometimes,” below. The song is an early taste from Parsons' upcoming album, The Secret. Due on April 26, the LP will be his first in 15 years.

The veteran artist and producer had previously teased the album, saying it "will include musical and lyrical themes that are very close to my heart and my own interests and passions."

Among those passions is magic. The craft is one of Parsons' longtime hobbies and greatly influenced the songwriting on this album.

"Magic has always been a passion of mine," he explained. "I am a member of the Magic Castle in Los Angeles. I've also worked with the Japanese magic company Tenyo, writing instruction books and catalogs for their tricks. I dabble with magic myself in my free time, so an album with magical influences was a natural progression."

Other artists featured on The Secret include pop singer Jason Mraz, former Pillbugs frontman Mark Mikel and frequent Parsons collaborators Todd Cooper and Jordan Huffman. A full track listing can be found below.

Parsons initially made a name for himself as a producer, working on such classic albums as the BeatlesAbbey Road and Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon. In 1975, he formed the Alan Parsons Project, an assembly of studio musicians and members of various bands with whom he had previously worked. The group was a critical and commercial success, selling more than 5 million albums worldwide.

Parsons is currently in the midst of a worldwide tour, with dates scheduled through the end of August.
