A Railroad Town Christmas Set For Dec. 6th & 7th In DeQuincy

The Christmas season is coming and local towns in Southwest Louisiana are getting ready for their annual events for the community.

In DeQuincy, Louisiana they will be holding their annual Christmas festival named A Railroad Town Christmas which features two days of family friendly events including a ride on a train.  All events are free!

A Railroad Town Christmas begins on Friday December 6th with a ride on the Christmas train starting at 4pm at the DeQuincy Railroad Museum.

Then on Saturday, December 7th a whole host of events are slated.  There will be a Christmas Parade that begins at 10am. Plus at the railroad museum there will be food and craft & vendor booths.

The event coordinators also siad there is 100% chance of snow that day for the kiddos to enjoy followed by a fireworks display at 7pm located at the Union Pacific Ballpark Field.
