92.9 The Lake Game Of The Week: Sulphur vs Carencro

Sulphur started out the 2022 season on a high note with a 42-8 blowout win against Washington Marion. However, since then they went on a two-game losing skid. The Tors will be looking for redemption at home this week against district rival Carencro. The Bears return to district 3-5A this year and started off their season with two huge district wins against Alexandria (35-20) and Barbe (50-29). They were surprised by district foe Southside 49-23 last week. Carencro will be looking to reestablish their dominance in district 3-5A with their high-powered offense and stingy defense.
The Lake crew will be located by the home entrance gates of Sulphur's stadium, so come by and see us. We'll have the greatest hits of all time blaring and tons of giveaways including The Lake t-shirts to give out.
