Zydeco Lunch At Blue Dog Cafe This Saturday

What's better than great food and great Cajun music?  Go ahead I'll give you a second...that's right, nothing!

Zydeco artist Wayne Singleton from Opelousas, Louisiana will be performing this Saturday in Lake Charles!

Blue Dog Café is excited to present Zydeco music on Saturdays in Downtown Lake Charles. Allons danse' Zydeco!

Providing great local music has always been a priority for Blue Dog Café. Our founder, George Rodrigue, loved Zydeco music and painted several Zydeco musicians like Clifton Chenier during his career. Through our Saturday Zydeco Lunch we hope to continue Rodrigue's tradition of celebrating South Louisiana culture.

At Blue Dog Café’s Saturday Zydeco Lunch, doors open at 10:30 AM and music is from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Cover is $5 for adults, $3 for persons under 18 and free for children 12 and under in order to access the entertainment area where lunch is available for purchase. The Blue Dog Café main dining room also remains open with no cover and daily menu as during normal business hours.
