What’s Going on Under I-10 ?

If you have occasion to go under I-10 to reach the access road, you may have noticed that all those trees are gone.

Well, we went out and ask some folks working in the area and this is what they told us.

What's gong on is construction of a new Eastbound exit ramp from I-10 to Ryan Street. As you know, right now, we have to take the Lakeshore exit and drive up Broad to get to Ryan, but that will be a thing of the past when work is finished.

Next up will be a Ryan Street exit Westbound, so that whole area will have a completely different look to it.

We stopped some Entergy workers and they let us see the plans. Here is a picture of those plans.

Clears up everything, doesn't it?
