What Was Your First Car?

Just about everyone remembers their first car. Maybe it was a hand-me-down when your folks bought themselves a new car. Maybe you got a job and bought it yourself, but that first car, even if it was a clunker, was quite an event!

My first car was a 1961 Mercury Comet exactly like the one in the picture on our homepage.  The passenger door would swing open if you took a hard left. I even had to put a brand new motor in it after about a year. My second car was a hand-me-down from my folks. That was a '63 Chevy just like the one in the picture. What a car!!
