West Allen Parish Under Boil Advisory

Customers of West Allen Parish Water District will be placed under a system wide boil advisory.  In fact, that advisory goes into effect today (Monday) and will be in place until further notice.

At the heart of the problem is a valve replacement is being performed at the well site in Reeves that is located at a critical point in the supply line. While the valve replacement may not take that long, residents are advised that, even after the valve has been replaced, the boil advisory will remain in effect until after samples of the water can be collected and cleared by the Department of Health and Hospitals.

You are asked to boil your water until you receive further notice from West Allen Water.
