Veterans Get Free Stuff as a Way to Say Thank You [VIDEO]

This Sunday is Veterans Day. It is a day to say thanks to the poeple who have sacraficed so  we can all live in freedom. Did you know that there are still 43,942 veterans surviving who served during World War ll, The Korean Conflict and the Viet Nam era? Here is a list of some of the businesses that are saying thanks to Veterans with free offers this weekend.

Veterans in uniform or carrying an ID will get a free cookie of their choice this Sunday at the Great American Cookie Company. They are located in the Prien Lake Mall.

Veterans will get free Bloomin' Onions and soft drinks at Outback Sunday and Monday.

Veterans will also get free meals at Olive Garden this Sunday.

There are many other offers for veterans at retailers that do not have locations in Southwst Louisiana.
