Two men have been arrested as suspects in the triple killing at McMillan Park that took place Wednesday night. The first suspect, identified as Lon Allen Porter, 23. was arrested shortly after the killings took place.

Porter was also wanted as a suspect in a crime earlier Wednesday evening.

Lake Charles Chief of Police, Dixon said earlier in the evening, police responded to a call at U.S. 171 and Fitzenreiter Road where surveillance video shows a man hanging out of a vehicle and firing at another. Porter is a suspect in that incident.

Later, police arrested  Armonta DeQuon Hadnot. Hadnot is a suspect in both crimes.

According to Lake Charles Police investigators, the triple murder went down like this:

"They (victims) were rolling dice in the park, minding their own business and they were approached by two males. They were told to lay down and give it up, pull their pockets out. They did. They laid out. They were prone and then after they got the money, one of the victims was shot while laying down. The other victims attempted to get up and run and then two of the victims were shot as they were trying to run away," Dixon said.

Dixon said there were children playing the park at the time of the shootings.
