Update: Casey Kasem Was on Vacation

What seemed to be a deep dark mystery turned out to be anything but mysterious.

When we left off on the 'Mystery of the Missing DJ', it was reported that Casey Kasem had been found, but they didn't know where. I know that sentence makes no sense, but I swear that's how it was reported to us.

Now, police in Washington state are saying, they saw and spoke to Casey and Jean Kasem and they were merely visiting friends in Washington state. According to the Deputy Scott Wilson,

"We know he has an affliction, but he was alert, upright, dressed, groomed and cognizant of what was going on," Wilson said. "We see a lot of at-risk adults and children. This wasn't anywhere close to being suspicious."

 

Casey's children were elated to hear the news and so are we. Glad this story has a good ending.
