Adrian Daigle, the Louisiana man who was being sought by D.C. police and suspected of threatening government officials has been taken into custody in Jessup, Maryland.

Daigle was part of a police bulletin issued on Monday by police in D.C. seeking him for questioning regarding threats he allegedly made about D.C. officials. The types of threats were not made public at the time of the bulletin.

Howard County police said Daigle was taken into custody early Tuesday on an “emergency petition.” He was taken to a hospital to be evaluated to determine if he is a threat to himself or to others, according to a police statement.

So far, no criminal charges have been filed in Howard County and that authorities do not anticipate charging him in the near future. He could still be facing federal charges regarding those threats.
