Under Arrest for Cruelty to a Juvenile

What a piece of work. This guy was arrested for hitting a one year old baby.

From the CPSO press release:

  On January 6 the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint in reference to cruelty to a juvenile.  The investigation revealed Evan T. Bebee, 17, Hot Springs, AK, hit a one year old baby across the face causing large bruises and swelling.  The mother of the baby confirmed the allegation.

Bebee was arrested on January 20 and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center.  He is being charged with cruelty to juveniles.

Judge Michael Canaday set his bond at $50,000.

CPSO Detective William Wilcox is the lead investigator on this case.
