St. Joseph, Louisiana and it's neighboring community called Waterproof are in a very tight spot when it comes to water. The two communities have a population of fewer than 2,000 people, but the situation is quite dire indeed. Imagine having no usable water at all. Well, that's the tight spot the folks of these communities are in right now.Much like the city of Flint, Michigan, the tiny towns of St. Joseph and Waterproof are completely without water as the towns' water supply has been declared unsafe for drinking, drinking or bathing. Well, the folks at UPS are stepping up to the plate to help these communities and that's where you come in.

Just take a donation of bottled water to the Wal-Mart on Nelson Road and donate as much water as you can to help out these towns. The donation station will be open on Saturday, April 1 at the parking lot. The hours of operation will be between 9 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The great folks from UPS are heading up this water drive and they'll be on hand to take donations and deliver the water once the promotion has ended.

St. Joseph sounds like a picturesque little town and you can read more about it HERE
