I think the important thing to remember is to still be prepared here in SWLA.  As we learned from Hurricane Rita, the track of a storm can change quickly in the blink of an eye.

As of this morning, TS Gordon's update from the National Hurricane Center, has it still making initial landfall tomorrow morning (as a Cat 1 Hurricane) at the outer edges of the Louisiana border and the whole coast of Mississippi.

Currently the storm is tracking WNW at 17 MPH and has winds around 65 MPH and strengthening.

As we've seen from the images coming from Florida, the big danger of this storm is rainfall causing flooding.
