Well, add that to the long list of things I didn't know. Turns out that, in summer months, it does get up to 95 degrees. Who wants to do labor in that heat? Certainly not train workers in Sweden.

In order to beat the heat, the train workers wanted to wear shorts. The workers were told that they could not wear shorts at work so they came up with a way to, pardon the pun, skirt the issue. The workers decided that, if they couldn't wear shorts, they would do the next best thing.

The workers decided to wear skirts. Now, here is the odd thing about that situation.

They can't wear shorts, but if they choose to wear skirts, they are free to do so because, to forbid skirts would be discrimination! I wonder if there is a rule about how short the skirts can be. Let me rephrase that; I hope there is a rule about how short the skirts can be.
