Ahh...The internet. The greatest disseminator of lies and half truths ever invented. Part of the problem with the internet is that any moron on earth can go on-line and start a rumor that someone has died. These cretins actually think it's funny to start these rumors.

Recently, one of these mouth breathers started the rumor that Dick Van Dyke had passed away. Both Van Dyke and his wife berated the idiot via Twitter and the guilty party actually responded to them telling them, "It was just a joke. Don't you think it was funny?" So much for the mentality of the people who start such rumors.

Today, another funny-man started the hoax that Jackie Chan died while performing a dangerous stunt.

A very much alive Chan, responded on FaceBook

“Hi everybody! Yesterday, I got on a 3am flight from India to Beijing. I didn’t get a chance to sleep and even had to clean my house when I got home. Today, everybody called to congratulate me on my rumored engagement. Afterward, everybody called me to see if I was alive,” the actor wrote on Facebook.

“If I died, I would probably tell the world! I took a photo with today’s date, just in case you don’t believe me! However, thank you all for your concern. Kiss kiss and love you all!”
