There’s No Place Like Home

For many 20- and 30-somethings, home is where your parents are!  Close to 30% of people aged 25 to 34 have moved back in with their parents at some point- and most of them say they’re ok with it.  I wonder how their parents feel about it!! Almost half of people who have moved back home say the decision hasn’t affected their relationship with their families, and around 25% say that it’s actually made things better (and about the same amount of people said it’s made things worse).  These boomerang kids, as they’re sometimes called, aren’t total slackers- nearly 90% say they help out around the house, and 48% said they pay rent while living with their parents.
