You can't tell the players without a program. Here is the latest on the very hot topic of Common Core.

When we left off, State Judge Todd Hernandez was looking over the lawsuit filed against Governor Bobby Jindal by a group of parents and teachers who support Common Core

The upshot of Judge Hernandez's ruling is that he has refused a Jindal administration request to throw out much of a lawsuit against the governor accusing him of illegally meddling in the use of Common Core education standards.

Hernandez ruled yesterday that  the lawsuit could move forward, but  Gov. Bobby Jindal can't be questioned under oath as part of it.

The lawsuit was filed in response to Gov. Jindal suspension of the contracts needed to buy testing materials that use Common Core. The lawsuit accused Jindal of violating the Louisiana Constitution.
