The year was 1967 and the son of legendary folk singer Woody Guthrie, Arlo, had somewhat of a hit with a Thanksgiving story called 'Alice's Restaurant.'

While the story-song was not really a hit, radio stations all over the country would be the song from time to time. The song became so popular, in fact, that it became a major motion picture produced by Arthur Penn.

So, we thought that since the story is kind of about Thanksgiving and it's Thanksgiving time, we'd do something about it.

If it's been a long time since you heard 'Alice's Restaurant', or if you have friends that have never heard it, we'll give you a Thanksgiving sized helping of the classic at noon and 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving day.

Tune in, get ready to laugh at the song and remember the times and situations that existed back in 1967.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us!
