Everyone knows not to text and drive. But there should be a law against texting and walking, too. A 45-year-old woman had to be rescued from Lake Michigan on Monday after she walked off a pier while texting! Bonnie Miller was walking with her husband and 15-year-old son – but apparently neither one of them gave her the heads up that she was about to head straight into the water. A passer-by jumped in after her and was able to keep her afloat until rescue workers arrived. Miller definitely takes the crown for most oblivious texter. Sorry, mall fountain lady – you’ve been dethroned.
