The intersection of South Roosevelt St. and McKinley St. will close to thru traffic beginning Tuesday, March 20 for "approximately" eight weeks, said a City of Lake Charles media release. The closure is scheduled to allow "drainage improvements including new underground pipe, catch basins, and adding new drainage outfall pipe."

Local traffic for S. Roosevelt Street will enter and exit by way of Greinwich Boulevard, then onto Truman Street and Monroe Street.

Check back each day for the latest road and street closures.
